Though Silicon Valley Select has become a respected and trusted name in the Bay Area Nightlife scene, their amateur branding and web presence have limited their growth and success. Lucid Path Consulting, experts in branding online and off, was chosen as a full-service partner for all branding, communications, promotions, and operations.
Beginning with an attractive and modern website, Lucid Path immediately set about to create a more professional and polished facade for SVS. The nightlife industry is fast-paced and involves pounding the pavent; the site administrators had to be able to administer it from their mobile devices, quickly and easily. Their new website, based on WordPress, reflects the fun and youthful nature of their business. It makes extensive use of HTML5 and Javascript to maintain mobile usability without sacrificing visual appeal. With a myriad of features including Social Media, Photo and Video sharing, events calendars, and online registrations, the site is a major step forward from their previous, static website.
By training the SVS Staff on the conventions and expectations of social media, blogging, and marketing, Lucid Path will help to expand the company’s reach and target audience. Immediately, the site has become a destination site due to the engaging blog and photo content.
By establishing a formalized pricing structure and clearly-defined services for Companies, Individuals, and Venues, Lucid Path has poised SVS to become much more than a “club promoter.” SVS is now accepting web advertising and requests for private party coordination services, which represents a huge and untapped market in the bay area.
In the coming months, Lucid Path will continue to improve the operations at Silicon Valley Select. Future projects include:
- Extensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns to drive traffic and event attendance
- Cultivation of agreements with web advertisers and affiiates
- Formalized pitch portfolios for Venues, resulting in expanded offerings for “weekly” events
- Diversified sub-brands for various types of events and market demographics
